Hutt City Dojang has been operating since 1990 and became affiliated with Pacific Sun Taekwondo in 2002 and has been run by Senior Instructor James Parr since 2004.
Senior Instructor James has had over 30 years experience in Taekwondo, becoming a 1st Dan Black Belt in 1994 under Rhee Taekwondo, and sitting his 1st Dan Black Belt test under Pacific Sun Taekwondo in 2004. He obtained his 2nd Dan Black Belt in November 2011 and is currently working towards 3rd Dan Black Belt.
He believes that Taekwondo has given him the tools necessary to succeed in life and enjoys passing on this lesson to students.
The branch proudly boasts several family groups who train together which reflects the family orientated nature of Hutt City Dojang and offers two free trainings for new members.
